JSAS Review Board Member Fasoldt Accepts Position With MLB's Cardinals PDF Print E-mail

stlouiscardinalsJSAS Practitioner Review Board member Rob Fasoldt recently accepted a position of Director of Ticket Services with the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball.

Previously, Fasoldt was the senior director of ticket operations at the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League, to which he was promoted after serving as director of Ticket Sales with the Blues, where he was hired in 2006.

Prior to his appointments in St. Louis, Fasoldt was director of ticket sales for the Midwest region at Dover Motorsports, Inc., for six years.

Before his work with Dover, Fasoldt was the ticket manager for the Richmond Braves, the then-AAA minor league baseball affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.

While earning his bachelor's degree at Westminster College, Fasoldt interned with the Cardinals' AAA affiliate Memphis Redbirds.

"I've known Rob for several years, and while I'm certainly proud of his success, I'm definitely not surprised that the Cardinals identified him as a talented rising professional in the sport industry," said JSAS publisher Dr. Colby B. Jubenville.

JSAS editor Dr. Benjamin D. Goss added that Fasoldt is a popular, frequent guest speaker in Entertainment Management courses at Missouri State University.

"Rob is always delighted to share his time and talent with the next generation of sport professionals, and he's most deserving of this incredible opportunity," Goss said.

"I look forward to even bigger and better things ahead for him and look forward to welcoming him back to campus in his new role soon."
