Submission Process

To make manuscript submission as user-friendly as possible, we have elected to use an email submission process.

Simply compose an email with the following information/attachments:

1. TO: manuscripts@jsasonline.org
2. SUBJECT: JSAS manuscript submission—author(s) last names(s)—date of submission (EX: JSAS manuscript submission—Goss, Jubenville, & Martinez—August 18, 2008)
3. ATTACHMENTS:
1. Cover page document
2. Manuscript document
3. Whitepaper document
4. A note to us indicating that you’re submitting this manuscript for submission for review and have followed all instructions found on our Web site’s Manuscript Requirements and Submission Process pages.

We will promptly send you an email acknowledgement that your paper will be examined for review candidacy. 

After it has been examined for completeness and guideline accuracy, we will send you an email indicating that your manuscript has been sent for review, including an estimated date for the return of your manuscript to us by the reviewers.  At that point, you may consider the paper “under review.”
